Reaching the community

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts publicizes your events in several ways, at no cost to you:

High Points is a word document that contains a complete listing of all confirmed events for the upcoming 3 months. This document is sent out bi-monthly, usually on Mondays, via email to approximately 220 contacts. This contact list includes print media entertainment calendars, local hotels, organizations and promoters.

OVATION is a printed events calendar, published quarterly, with an approximate circulation of 40,000, 34,000 of which are sent directly to ticket-buying households. Includes all events booked at the Hult Center and Cuthbert Amphitheater with signed contracts by deadline.

E-News campaigns featuring your ticket on-sale notice are sent out to genre-specific subscribers in our double-opt-in e-News subscriber database, which consists of more than 2,500 subscribers.

Monthly events e-News is sent to approximately 30,000 e-mail addresses. A monthly listing of upcoming events is sent at the beginning of each month. Listing includes image, one-line descripion and Buy Online button.

Weekly event calendar print advertisement in The Register-Guard Friday's LIFE entertainment section (circulation over 70,000). Upcoming events and upcoming on-sale notifications are advertised in this 2 column inch x 11.5 inch institutional print ad. Events are listed chronologically.

21 x per year weekly event calendar print advertisement in Eugene Weekly, circulation over 40,000. Upcoming events and upcoming on-sale notifications are advertised in this 1/3 V institutional print ad. Events are listed chronologically.

HultCenter.org has more than 10,000 unique visitors per week, with an average visitor length of 8:39 minutes. Event listings appear in three main areas:

  • More Upcoming Events: Home page. On-sale notices listed for two weeks.

  • Calendar/Complete Event Calendar: Lists all events by month with full descriptions, links to promoters and photos.

  • On Stage: Home page. Rotating the most current events scheduled at the Hult Center and Cuthbert Amphitheater, up to 8 events at a time.

Two Ticket Sales Kiosks are located in the Hult Center Lobby. On the first of each month, screen saver slides (created by Hult Center marketing) of all ticketed events for the following month are posted, e.g. on November 1, all December events are uploaded. Each slide includes the primary image, promoter/presenter, title, day, date and time.

Four Hult Vision (in short, we refer to each screen as HV I-IV) digital screens are located in the Hult Center Lobby to maximize exposure for your ticketed events, and your sponsors on HVI or HVII (details below). Marketing prepares a DVD featuring all ticketed events. In lieu of one "still" image (produced by Hult Center marketing), promoters may submit a high-quality event promotional segment of up to 30 seconds or up to 6 high-quality professional still shots, timed at 5 seconds each. Each screen has its own access and policies (details below).
